V-Buster For Windows

V-Buster will run under all versions of DOS and Windows, incl. Windows 95, 98, ME, NT and XP, as well as XP with the NTFS File Protection System. However I have received many hundreds of emails telling me that V-Buster should be converted to a Windows 95 or 98 ONLY program. One email even went to the extent of telling me to swallow my pride and employ someone to rewrite my program in the Windows 98 format. There are many reasons why I have not done so. Just imagine that you have purchased a copy of "V-Buster for Windows" with your hard earned money and have installed it in your Windows 95 or 98 hard disk.

BOOT VIRUS
One nice day you run Vbuster.Exe and Vbuster.Exe displays a message saying "Cannabis Virus detected in Memory". You proceed to check your computer with Vbuster.Exe and Vbuster.Exe detects the virus in the Partition Table of your hard disk and prompts you to rebuild the Partition Table, and you type "Yes" and a message appears saying that the Partition Table has been rebuilt and restored. You then check your hard disk again and mercy of mercies, the virus is still there. You then boot up a diskette in drive A, run Vbuster.Exe and a message appears saying "This program needs Windows". You now have five options:

At this time you decide to just pull your hair.

STEALTH BOOT VIRUS
On another nice day you run Vbuster.Exe and Vbuster.Exe displays a message saying "Angelina Virus detected in Memory". You proceed to check your computer with Vbuster.Exe but no virus is found anywhere. You know that the Angelina virus is a stealth virus and you also know that stealth viruses are invisible once active in memory. You then boot up a diskette in drive A, run Vbuster.Exe and a message appears saying "This program needs Windows". At this time you decide to hop around the room.

STEALTH FILE VIRUS
Again on another nice day you run Vbuster.Exe and Vbuster.Exe displays a message saying "Frodo-4096 Virus detected in Memory". You proceed to check your computer with Vbuster.Exe but no virus is found anywhere. As the Frodo-4096 is a stealth virus, you boot up a diskette in drive A, run Vbuster.Exe and a message appears saying "This program needs Windows". At this time you decide to punch yourself in the face.

CRASHED WINDOWS
One nice day your wife asks you to email a birthday greeting to your mother-in-law which you absolutely hate and cannot stand the sight of. You switch on your computer but your Windows refuses to start. Being computer literate you realise that your Windows files have been damaged by a virus. "Never fear" you say to yourself as you have used Vbuster.Exe from your V-Buster for Windows to create Rebuild.Dta which will enable Vbuster.Exe to rebuild nearly all the damaged files in your hard disk. You boot up a diskette in drive A, run Vbuster.Exe and a message appears saying "This program needs Windows". At this time you decide to jump from the top of your computer table to commit suicide.

CRASHED HARD DISK
One day you have a heated quarrel with your wife and decide to destroy a few space invaders on your computer to let off steam but lord behold your computer refuses to boot. You boot up a diskette in drive A and type "C:" but a message "Invalid Drive" appears. However you are not worried as you know that Vbuster.Exe can be used to restore a crashed hard disk. You boot up a diskette in drive A, run Vbuster.Exe and a message appears saying "This program needs Windows".

At this time you are left with no choice but to take the last option available and that is to jump from the tallest building to kill yourself. You can see for yourself that "V-Buster for Windows" is only useful if you do not have a virus infection in your computer. If this is so why should anyone want to buy a copy and what in heavens name would I be writing one in the first place. I should fit the garden hose into my ears to wash out my brains before I write one.
